Cabinet above bathroom basin is in the road when trying to use the basin to wash your face or clean your teeth. Suggest cabinet is tilted higher or a shorter one is fitter with greater space above the basin. We could not operate the bench top hot plates and no instructions were provided. Hot water dribbled out of taps and showers.

What's good? Great location, tidy rooms, plenty of family facilities including paid laundry, kitchen and pool. Best price we could find. Free safe parking on-site. 3 min drive from Airlie Beach marina. What's not so good? No flexibility at all in offering early check-in. This might not be suitable for bigger families but it was me and my wife so we managed the 4 hour wait. We do understand that this might not be possible during busy times but when I called to inquire about early check in two days before arrival I was told it's possible (still no assurances) but possible. but when we arrived we were told it's not and that check in is at 2pm. I have to say though after that everything was smooth and we enjoyed our stay so no regrets.

Staff were great rooms clean and bed comfortable. The only bad complaint rooms way to far away from car park. Trolley would be great for luggage and other necessities. Had to make a few trips not great with bad ankle

The room was adequate for the money. Very clean. Walls very thin and if you encounter a noisy Neighbor at 2am who turns their TV on and coughs for 30 minutes, this is why I would not be too keen to stay again. Staff were lovely.

The room was super clean, very quiet T nights, non smoking areas. Amenities included including laundry making it convenient. Staff was friendly and willing to help. The bus runs efficiently and so cheap. I would stay here again.

I upgraded to the cabin after the Queen was not as advertised. The shared kitchen facilities were lacking and things were broken such as the kitchen fan, washing machine and poor condition cookware. Wasn’t quite what I was expecting

The girls at front reception were very helpful and welcoming. We stayed in a pet friendly cabin it was clean, small but good for an overnight stay. Pool area is clean and inviting looks like it has recently had a refurbishment done. Short walk down the road to the convenience store, but a drive to go into town for dinner.

We were luckily in one of the newer cabins, so the accommodation itself was fresh and upgraded compared to others around the site. Not a particularly thorough job when it came to the cleaning - attention to detail in certain areas were lacking. We had to swap towels a few times are they were given to us with stains on them. The communal areas need revamping and improving as they feel dirty and run-down. Breakfast was poor - really limited options and when things ran out they weren't replaced (despite reporting these to reception). So much more could be done with the breakfast hall! Location was perfect for what we needed and a really short drive away from the main town of Airlie and other local walks. Free onsite parking was also super convenient. An average stay overall, but did the job for a few nights.

Absolutely gorgeous rainforest retreat. Nice simple breakfast options. Bed was super comfy. It is quite a way from the town centre (not walkable or at least a LOOONG walk) but that added to the quietness.
