There were 3 positives - position, price and lovely receptionists. There was 1 major negative - no daily housekeeping. I stayed 4 nights. The coffee and milk was supposed to last. I requested more, but it did not arrive. I also requested clean towels, which were supplied.

From the moment I walked in, on a busy Friday night the manager was friendly, helpful and efficient at checking in. The room was dated but absolutely clean as. No views from my room which didn't bother me. The room was quiet and comfortable.. It was a close walk to Adelaide Oval for the footy. Great restaurants and bars in the area too. The location is 💯 and I'd definitely stay here again if visiting Adelaide.

Manager very helpful with information that we sought regarding Adelaide, transport etc. Very friendly. She was actively maintaining vigilance over access by undesirables and reassuring us of safety in the grotty precinct nearby. Got what you paid for. Not a fancy hotel. No room service. But was good enough. Besides sleeping, didnt spend much time in room anyway. Clean room, clean sheets and clean bathroom.

This hotel is a disaster compared to what it looks on the website. The carpets are so old and dirty in the lounge as well as the bedrooms. The cleaners are friendly and so was the receptionist and manager I spoke with. However amenities are dirty. My room’s toilet had urine all over when I moved into the room. The fridge is rusty and tiny. Although it says no smoking in the room, it was smelling of cigarettes, a pungent smell. The kettle I assume has never been washed. The windows were broken and the curtains had stains. Since the windows wouldn’t close, you could hear all the noises from hindley street, a street that doesn’t sleep due to night time activities around bars. I booked for two weeks, I was glad to leave after 3days when I found somewhere else. Although I didn’t get a refund due to booking online with Expedia, I do not regret not spending one more night at this hotel after my early exit.

Budget but can't beat the location

Brilliant location right near Rundle mall and with so many transport options a short walk away. Room was spacious, clean for its age and had the basic amenities (though shower toiletries were empty). Hotel is under new management and changes are underway! Whilst there is loud, squealing water pipes and rooms badly in need of a refurb/refresh (a microwave would have really been useful) the friendly service from all the employees, especially the manager, made it easier to overlook. Made a great overnight base to explore Adelaide and the surrounds for a few days.
