The Valamar President has perhaps the best views in Dubrovnik, but the physical property is starting to show its age. We had a rocky start—our first room had curtains that wouldn't close, and had several broken fixtures and a dirty fridge. It’s also disappointing that the spa jacuzzi has been out of service for so many months. That said, the service remains excellent. The staff handled our complaints professionally, and management eventually wiped our bar tab and most of our bill to compensate for the trouble. If you want a modern, high-tech hotel, this isn't it; but if you value service and incredible sunsets, it’s still a great spot. Just check your room thoroughly upon arrival!

The breakfast menu is very filling and offer a varied and healthy options

Everything perfect. Spotlessly clean. Both indoor and outdoor pools a delight. Breakfast catered for all tastes / very good quality all round. Staff very friendly and professional. Couldn’t find a fault if I tried all day!

great hotel

A very nice hotel, not far from Dubrovnik with beautiful beach access and views from the rooms. The breakfast was very good with a wide variety. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was nice and quiet in the area at night. Only slight drawback is that the parking was a bit odd to find-maps initially tried to take us to a different hotel, so make sure you put in the exact right location!
