Staff were excellent, extremely kind and helpful. All staff went above and beyond to make our staff exceptional! The entrance to the hotel is outstanding with an incredible view of the sea the minute you walk in. We were greeted extremely well upon our arrival - extreme apologies I’m not sure of the lady’s name. She showed us to our V level room, which was readily prepared with complimentary gifts to celebrate our wedding anniversary and big birthday. She showed us how we select a scent of our choice from our room and we were greeted with a wonderful sea view. This wasn’t an interrupted sea view as there were lots of trees and a view of a car park but the sea view was wonderful all the same. We had breakfast every day where there was a good range of options. The lift from our area of the hotel was slightly temperamental but we only had to travel a couple of floors so wasn’t a problem for us. Whilst there, we had spa treatments which were excellent and used the hotel pool. As part of the V Level package we had use of a cabana, just be mindful this is first come first serve - there are more available around the beach area. Dubrovnik has one sandy beach which requires a ferry trip all other beaches are pebbly. We had a meal in the Momenti restaurant with a 5 course tasting menu and bottle of wine. Our service was excellent from Martin and we had an outstanding sunset view completely to ourselves! Overall an incredible city and hotel stay. Thank you all!❤️ Highly recommend!

Overall a very pleasant experience. Awesome views, no better place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning than their terrace. Lacks some of the detail and abundance I would have expected from a five-star hotel.

Exceptional staff, excellent food, all the facilities you could hope for, restaurants, bars, spa, gym and the elevator takes you straight to the beach. V-Level was well worth the upgrade. Vedran, Ivan & Marija looked after us so well throughout the trip. Bus to old town right outside the hotel that leaves every 10mins for just a couple of Euros. Would come back in a heartbeat.

The property on first impression is wow. However when you drop to other floors same can’t be said. Dark dreary poorly light corridors and a bad state of repair. The beach is extremely poor heavily soiled mattress, heavy duty machinery operating when trying have early morning sunbathe. We even had someone unfortunately come in and bin raid for plastic bottles. The beach is open to everyone not private. We spent our time at the pool which was much better standard but does need some attention. The room itself is clean but had some issues dents in walls, ripped wall paper. One positive was the staff in the restaurant they were friendly and attentive and the food variety was to good standard. I wouldn’t rate this as five star. The hotel needs a consistent standard throughout the property to achieve 5 stars.

President hotel very nice, beautiful views, very helpful staff, nice large rooms, close to small markets and restaurants, beach and pool access. Easy bus. Uber, Taxi access. 3 opportunities for improvement: a) convert a portion of the beach to sand vs small rocks, b) heat the outdoor pool, c) add an ice machine for hotel guests on each floor.

I would love to have been able to give the hotel 5* as there were so many great things about it. The location must be the best in Dubrovnik - wonderful sunset views across the sea; the premium rooms are fantastic - large rooms with big comfortable beds; lovely bathroom and shower / bath. But the issue we had is that when we booked through Expedia, we specifically chose a hotel with a double and a twin room. We contacted the hotel immediately after booking to reserve a twin room, only to be told that it would be allocated on arrival at the hotel and there was no guarantee. On arrival the reception staff stated that there were no twin rooms available (“the hotel is very popular”). Our two adult children would need to share a bed which was not acceptable to us, and had we known this we would’ve chosen an alternative hotel. After stating that we were not happy the receptionist managed to find a twin room which was four floors below where we were, which in itself wasn’t an issue. However, the room was a lot smaller than the room we had booked, was right next to the gym and underneath the restaurant so it was very noisy with chairs scraping and people bouncing on running machines. When we raised this with the hotel staff they told us that it was an equivalent standard to the room that we had booked, although there was no comparison to the double room. The staff member seemed unwilling to help and this really spoiled our holiday.
