Zihuatanejo Centro accommodation with spa

This is supposed to be a top rated resort in Ixtapa. We paid for the All-Inclusive and it was a disappointing. The resort only has 4 restaurants where you can have dinner and 3 of those are considered “specialty”. We were only allowed to dine once at each of the restaurants during our 7 day stay. The quality of the food overall was not good. And you couldn’t eat poolside, like what? Also, my bed was hard as a rock. They did put a topper on the mattress after I complained. The walk to the pool was long and the pools themselves were not very inviting. They were all 5ft deep, with no place to lounge. Overall, I would not stay here again.

Pros: Nice pool open until 9pm. Rooftop terrace. Clean room, a/c works well. Friendly helpful staff. Great location for restaurants, markets, transit. Complimentary water dispensers. Really good complimentary continental breakfast: fruit, cereal, toast, coffee. Cons: Doors of adjacent rooms can be loud/jarring.

Only stayed for one night but it was a great experience!!

Very clean and well maintenance. Staff were kind and very helpful. Located near downtown Zihuatanejo and The beach making it easier to get where you need. Very family friendly area with a pool that has an area for kids especially Toddlers. Rooms are clean and simple mainly comfortable. Overall a great spot for travel.
