You'll find one of the nation's most important cities a mere day trip from Xiaohuanxi. Shanghai is 130 kilometres to the northwest.

Jinshan Beach and Fengxian Beach are the perfect destinations if you want to go somewhere to unwind by the ocean.

You won't need to be stuck on the highway all day to witness a bit of nature. Just 30 kilometres out of Xiaohuanxi, Mount Putuo is a terrific place to sit back and relax. More tranquil surrounds are waiting for you at Caves, 30 kilometres away.
