It lies 770 kilometres northeast of Canberra, the capital of Australia.

What could be more indulgent than listening to the sounds of the ocean on the shoreline? Take a trip to Lighthouse Beach or Kings Beach for a sublime day out.

Go beyond Woombah and be prepared to experience some unique natural attractions. Just 30 kilometres away, Evans Head Visitor Information Centre is a pleasant place to unwind in the fresh air. We also recommend Bundjalung National Park, 11 kilometres away from Woombah.

Get the blood flowing on a walk around Iluka Boat Harbour or Iluka Rotary International Park. If your stomach is grumbling, they're two exceptional spots to throw down a blanket and spoil yourself with a picnic.
