A bit rundown, but clean and the staff was very good.

Chambre très grande, juste à côté de la gare, très bien desservi pour aller sur Cologne. Literie parfaite. Petit déjeuner convenable et personnel très gentil souriant.

A reasonably priced hotel, competently managed and serviced by just one lovely lady. The room was sparsely furnished with minimal facilities to hang and store clothes, so we lived out of our suitcases, but otherwise perfectly adequate with a comfortable bed. The ensuite bathroom was clean with a well-functioning shower. The continental breakfast was ample with fresh bread rolls and a wide selection of meats and cheeses, as well as a limited number of cereals and fruit. The hotel is situated in the village of Vicht right next to the stream of the same name. The village offers delightful walks in its own right, but is also well situated to explore Aachen, Stolberg, Monschau and the northern Eifel region. Use of a car is desirable to get around, but the village is serviced by public transport. Overall we had a great time.

Great place to stay. Friendly helpful staff. Motorbike parked safely right by hotel entrance. Short walk into the beautiful town. Lovely breakfast, after a swim.
