Excellent location with private beach, walking distance to several restaurants (although you get tourist prices), free shuttle to grocery store. Quiet, family oriented, friendly staff. If you get snorkeling equipment or anything else and return before checking out make sure the front desk shows you returned it, or you will get charged for it.

The location is very convenient and there are a lot of things to do in the area if you do not want to leave the facility. The breakfast is not buffet style which was the only drawback since I love my breakfast and my coffee!!

This property was absolutely gorgeous!!! Our room just happened to overlook the dolphin area from the aquarium, so we got to see the dolphin show right from the comfort of our own balcony daily!! The resorts in the area are all open, so you can easily walk to different beaches and use their chairs and such too but the beach at this resort was most private. We coordinated transportation to and from the airport directly with the property and it was super easy!! The resort offers shuttle transportation for free to sightsee and to Punda!! You just sign up once you get there. The staff was very friendly and we even booked couples massages on the beach at a very reasonable price!!

The people and property were great. The problem was that there was a construction site next door at the aquarium which went onall day everyday, Saturday and Sunday included. East moving equipment at 8am on a Saturday and a Sunday.

The suite had a wonderful view, and the staff, especially Chris, were amazing and always very helpful. The pools were nice, and the private beach was calming. Although the resort is far from downtown, there are plenty of dining options nearby. The resort operates as a timeshare, so the suite did look lived-in in the bathroom, but the space was clean and comfortable.

I have both positive and negative things to say about the Royal Sea Aquarium. It is in a great location with many restaurants and bars within walking distance. No room has a bad view, all room categories have amazing views. The pools and lounge chairs are well maintained and relaxing to spend your day around. The beach has a great view BUT is very hard packed and lots of shells -- hard on the feet! Every single staff member was SO friendly and helpful. The on-site restaurant food was fantastic but service could be a little slow. We stayed in a ground floor studio and loved that its was poolside. However, the beds & pillows were SO uncomfortable -- this is the ONLY reason why we will not return. We had a TINY kitchenette area with a mini fridge that could barely hold anything. The bathroom (bathtub and toilet)was sufficient but way too small. Overall, our only disappointment with the Royal Sea Aquarium was with the room itself. Improvements could definitely be made. Most notably, THE BEDS!!! Only reason we were ready to leave was because of the beds -- very unfortunate.
