Absolutely thrilled with our stay at the Crescent Turner. The room was spacious, very clean and decorated beautifully. Lovely attention to detail everywhere. Very friendly staff and nice food selection. Breakfast (eggs Benedict) was lovely. Excellent value room. Would have no hesitation to recommend to friends and will definitely be back
Had a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing stay at Crescent Turner Hotel in Whitstable. The hotel is in a very beautiful location set in a quiet lane with spectacular views but only 5 - 10 minutes from Whitstable and 15 minutes from Canterbury. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are of a high standard and well equipped. The restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere which was light and airy and had an amazing view. Enjoyed a most delicious full English breakfast. Enjoyed our stay so much we will be returning very soon.
We had room 3 and although the views from the room were amazing, it was not very private as people did walk in front of our window albeit they did not look in but nonetheless we felt overlooked. However, the staff were great and the food was excellent.
An excellent short stay for a winter's day- even if it should be spring! Very good food apart from the continental breakfast - fruit platter almost non- existent! Scrambled eggs were delicious.
Dinner excellent and all staff helpful and proficient.
An easy run for us and, having found it , would definitely return. Have booked for May!
This a lovely hotel located above Whitstable with a beautiful view of the bay. Our room was very comfortable and had all amenities. The breakfast was delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. One or two suggestions: sound proof the kitchen door as you can hear the whole conversation in the dining room; sort out the wifi; train waiting staff a bit more as they are young and enthusiastic but need to be prompted occasionally on basics.
A quick overnight work trip - if I'd realised how nice the hotel and area was I would have arrived earlier. Very comfortable stay - nice restaurant for an evening meal and breakfast. Lovely staff.
Really nice hotel. Our room was amazing, clean and had a fantastic view overlooking the Whitstable bay area. Was given a private room which was more like a flat at the top of the hotel which we weren't expecting.
Great location, great views, comfortable hotel with good facilities, excellent food but the staff are the ones that really make or break a hotel and the staff we came in contact with were all fantastic.
We had a lovely short break in a luxury sea view room. Room had lovely decor, was spacious and had all the facilities you could ask for - mini fridge, wifi, complimentary water, hairdryer, white co toiletries and extra radiators. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious - although I think the heavy rain may have caused a problems with the drains as there was a slight odour. Staff all very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. TIP: We were in room 3 which was ground level - it had great views and close access to the garden gazebo. If we stay again I might ask for one of the first floor sea view rooms with a balcony - as you probably get even better views across the estuary.
Remember the hotel is not in the centre of town (it doesn't claim to be) - but no problem getting taxis which cost about a fiver into Whitstable.
All round, a very enjoyable break.
We booked late. We found staff very friendly. The food was very good and the accommodation and food was very good. Lovely to see rabbits hopping around whilst enjoying a cocktail during the early evening on the outside terrace
