This is a room in a pub. But our room was to a high standard and almost large enough to be a suite. Absolutely in the centre of Whitby. Breakfast was good and hearty too. Could do with more power sockets in the room, though.

First visit to the Royal Hotel and I’m sure we’ll be back. Great restaurant and bar areas. Had a great time at one of their events. Stayed overnight in a cosy double, clean and everything you need in a room. Might be too small if you are there for a week. Parking behind the hotel at £6 per 24 hours. ...
