Very tired room

The room was very tired, very dusty and lots of the furnishings were stained. In desperate need of modernising. For £115 a night, very expensive!

Convenient location

The rooms at The George and Dragon Inn were basic but comfortable. The room had a couple of steps between the sleeping area and bathroom which seemed and were dangerous in the dark. The bathroom was small and shower difficult to direct. Breakfast was a basic continental served in the bar area of the pub. The location was very convenient for the town centre and close to a large car park.

Friendly staff, comfortable room

My sister and I had a comfortable stay for 2 nights. The staff were friendly and helpful and our rooms were clean and functional. The location is great for the theatre and shops.

The bed was comfortable but the room was rather in need of some tlc - leaking handbasin pedestal; the hook on the bathroom door had come off and was not replaced; lots of cobwebs on the window; the tea tray was not refilled properly (only one teabag and no milk).

The staff at the George and Dragon was delightful and accommodating. And the room was okay. But the rooms are in the back of a pub so it is quite noisy. They do close at 11:00 pm so if you don’t go to sleep til after 11 you will be fine but it is noisy until 11:00, especially if the weather is good. There is a patio behind the pub next to the rooms so if the weather is good there are a lot of people out on the patio which makes it even noisier.

We were disappointed in our stay as it wasn’t as good as the last time we stayed a year ago. The decor is very tired and the basin in both rooms didn’t drain properly.The beds were very uncomfortable and we could feel all the springs! The conservatory has been turned into a pool table room which was very noisy and also meant we couldn’t eat breakfast in there this time. There was no cooked breakfast this time, although the continental breakfast was good.

Very welcoming and a cosy room in a separate part of the building - the old coach house. Lovely to stay in such an historic building. Continental breakfast was delicious and is included in stay. Very convenient for Chichester Festival Theatre and City Centre.

Great location in the centre of Chichester

Great location in central Chichester Very friendly staff My room was separate from the pub so I didn't have to go through the bar to get to my room Breakfast was ok. Continental only. Lots of lovely eateries nearby. Chichester is a vibrant City with plenty to see and do. Hope to return soon. Many thanks.
