We were fortunate to get a room last minute (pardon the pun) that accommodated our maltalier x toy poodle. Ensure you let them know before hand, because despite being 'pet friendly', dogs aren't super welcome. We were warned and paid the pet fee. Perfect apartment for 1976. Very dated kitchen, bathroom in very used/ worn condition. A musty smell in the bedroom. Plastic kitchen appliances with a notice of a hefty $70 fee if dishes not washed up. Furnishings were minimal and functional; the lamp didn't work at all. All in all, we had a bed for the night, but the apartment did not feel warm, inviting, welcoming or pleasant in the least. Soured our first, and most likely last, impression of Wagga Wagga.
