Unfortunately, our stay was let down by several cleanliness and maintenance problems. Utensils in the drawers were found dirty, despite a note requesting guests leave items clean and put away. There was also a noticeable stain on the bedding cover. The kitchen tap had a hole in it and leaked when in use, and the shower leaked badly, flooding the bathroom floor and out to where the bed was.The cabin floor overall didn’t appear to have been properly cleaned, and there was hair left in the shower from previous occupants. While minor in comparison, the doormat was also heavily deteriorated and should be replaced. These issues detracted from what could have been a comfortable stay, and better attention to cleaning and basic maintenance would make a big difference.

Beautifully laid out park with lots of grassed areas and plenty of visitor parking. Situated in a quiet area. Terrific drive-through sites with ensuites. We stayed in a cabin and it was sufficient for a few nights stay. Small tv was a little too far away for watching from the bed. Nice and clean.

Very nice place to stay

Service and communication from reception is excellent. The cabin has everything you need for your stay. The accommodation is away from the Main Street so traffic noise is very low. Will stay again when I’m in the area.

A great experience. We arrived late, but the owners had left everything we needed in an accessible safe. The unit was clean, comfortable and had everything in it that we needed. I have already recommended it to my Australian friends.

Disappointed

We were disappointed with this property. Reception was friendly and condition of the unit was average but we felt that it was under equipped. We have not before seen a cabin in a caravan park that did not have a sink and running water in the kitchen area, or a hot plate for cooking. The bed was hard and not comfortable and did not appear to have been swept under for some time. The advised WiFi user name did not appear on the list of those available on my top ranking Android phone, so I concluded that, like many caravan parks, the provision of WiFi is more a selling point that a genuine service. We would not return to this property unless we had assurances of substantial improvement. We did not have the opportunity to make comments on these matters on departure as we left before the office opened.
