Incredibly beautiful castle, grounds and room. Highly advise a castle bedroom if you can! Very clean, comfortable and huge.
Biggest drawback was limited dining options during the week-same menu for lunch and dinner that gets boring pretty fast.
Breakfast was tasty and lots of options all included.
Close to Dublin- we didn’t have a car but 45 minutes by train and then 10 minute taxi made it easy (except book taxi ahead as Athy is pretty small).
Worthwhile for the luxury to stay in a castle!
