Room was clean, but smelled.

The property was undergoing a major renovation at the time we arrived. The property did not share that fact when we made the reservation. Access to the room was somewhat difficult due to the ongoing construction. Good room, large and well furnished, just as we had requested, thought the furniture was a bit dated and worn. We had to dust all the surfaces on arrival, which is typical when drywall construction is going on. The noise, however, was well controlled. No breakfast, which is usually a big plus for the Garden Inn. The staff remained pleasant and helpful during the chaos, which made the situation more bearable. The most difficult part was the low availability of luggage carts and the poor condition of the ones they had.

Had to move rooms because the AC unit was malfunctioning and when we got to second room the door's security latch was broken off and missing. Both should have been easy fixes by maintenance.

Thanks for getting us checked in even though the computer system was down! It would be a great idea to have the maintenance man run through the property and tighten: door knobs, shower/bath fixtures, etc.

Large comfortable bed, free simple breakfast, free coffee anytime. Hotel was relatively new so facilities were good. Pool table in the lobby was fun. Nearby food options. We went to the Levante Mediterranean which was half a mile away and good.

very average quality, expected something better.
