Best mid-range hotel in Venice

Great location a couple of blocks off of San Marco but quiet and easy to find. Rooms are spacious and serviced is great. Excellent breakfast buffet. Near transportation stops and easy to reach from train station.

We stayed in the annex building because the reviews seemed better for this building than the main hotel however we were on the top floor - 61 steps up and down everyday with no lift. Not fun with suitcases! The staff was not overly friendly (perhaps it’s just a reaction after a remarkable stay and service at our hotel in Rome).

A Gem of a hotel for so many reasons.

I’ve been blessed to travel to more than 70 countries around the world and have stayed in all types of hotels. The Hotel Monte Carlo is amongst the finest. The location is perfect. st Marks square is just 2 min away. Amazing restaurants are all around… and the hotel is comfortable and the staff is amongst the finest I’ve ever had the pleasure to intersect with. From the front desk, to the porters and the wait and cleaning staff. Do yourself a favor and book this hotel next time you are in Venice.

Located in a former 15th century monastery on a narrow alley very close to St. Mark's Square, the location is perfect. Very near shopping and restaurants and all the major attractions of Venice. Highly recommend!

Terrific hotel

We had a great time! The hotel was superb! The staff was absolutely wonderful. Breakfast was great as was. The surprise afternoon tea was a pleasure. The staff went out of their way to help when my phone cord was damaged in transit. The hotel is in a great location. When I return I To Venice, I will certainly stay there again!

our stay at Hotel Montecarlo!

We like the breakfast and the afternoon snack (from 4 PM to 6 PK they serve coffee, tea, delicious cookies, cakes. The hotel is small but comfortable, it is in a great location, closed to St. Mark's basilica, to good restaurants, to souvenir shops.I would recommend it to my friends.
