The staff was so friendly and accommodating. They answered all questions we had and provided us with taxi service due to an early checkout. They made amazing recommendations and they all truely were the nicest people ever. This hotel was recommended from our friends, as they loved it too. I am so glad we stayed here. The hotel was close to St Marks square, a 4 minute walk. Beautiful room and very spacious. Air conditioning was amazing on a hot day.

We enjoyed our stay, we had three rooms for nine people: the staff was courteous and professional. We included the breakfast which was very varied and good. Our only complaint was that one room the air worked very minimally and it was very hot… so very hot throughout the night. The location was great for St Marks and close to many attractions.

This was the perfect hotel for our first visit to Venice. The location was a short walk to St. Mark's Square, and it was short distance to all the other sites we wanted to visit. Our room was a bit small but typical for most older hotels in older cities. We loved the full breakfast buffet each morning, and the afternoon complimentary "tea-time" offered a nice break in the late afternoon. Plenty of restaurants were within walking distance. On top of everything, the staff was always professional, helpful and friendly. If we ever go back to Venice, the Montecarlo Hotel is where we will stay.
