We had a great stay there. The staff was excellent with great advice on what to do and where to eat. It is a very interesting building (former monastery) and I wish I had time to learn more about it.

Perfect location if you travel by train. Easy to walk to main attractions or to take vaporetto. The staff is EXCEPTIONAL: fantastic welcome, helpful tips and restaurant recommendations. The room was nice and the breakfast was fantastic. They don’t have an elevator but the staff takes care of taking the suitcases to the room. I would stay there again.

Hotel Abbazia was a gem—super conveniently located to public transportation (railway station and Piazzale Roma) and the Grand Canal but set back on a quiet side street. The staff was extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful. Room was great—comfortable bed, effective AC, reasonably priced.

Nice hotel in a good location but the room we had was a bit dark (little natural light and low ceilings as we were partially in what felt like the attic) and it was warm as the air conditioning was weak. The room was clean but needs to be refreshed a bit. The staff was very kind and welcoming and the breakfast was delicious.

This is a no brainer hotel right next to the train station. The breakfast was extremely good with delicious options, cappuccino coffee machines, and much more with cereal for kids. The room was clean and had air conditioning, smelled great like musk and roses. Shower could be bigger (almost felt like in a cruise shower). None the less all toiletries and hair dryer worked. Be careful of the big step to the bathroom. Lobby is great to sit in after checkout and waiting for train. They also have luggage room, so you can keep your luggage and continue to explore till your train time. Extra pillows and blanket in the closet. It would be great if there was atleast one extra mirror in the room for makeup etc. all in all great comfortable stay. Don’t forget to explore the little garden area outside the breakfast area. Check in was easy, they make photo copies of passport but maybe that is common there. At the end there was some tax/fee at check out per person not more than $2 or $3 per person.

I had a wonderful stay at hotel Abbazia in Venice! The breakfast was amazing with lots of delicious options. My room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were all so kind and friendly, and I especially want to mention Matteo, who was amazing and made my stay even better. The location is perfect, just twhreeminutes away from the train station. Highly recommend this place!!!

El hotel es preciosoooooo nos encanto, el salon cerca del front desk es bellisimo, el personal super amable, el desayuno delicioso y variado, la habitacion comoda, limpia y no se filtraba el ruido, con la excepcion de una hermosas campana de una igelsia cercana, que en mi opinio fue precioso escucharlas. la ubiacion genial tomando en cuenta que esta super cerca de la estacion del tren y cerca de la estacion del vaporeto. Tienen un gran jardin que nos gusto mucho aunque debo recocer que le falta un poco de mantenimiento, recoger las hojas secas y limpiar las sombrillas, pero eso seria todo.

We liked that the a/c in the room is cold especially we stayed during the heat wave and after walking in the hot sun for a few hours, coming into the room that’s cool was soo good. We also liked that it is so close to the train station and we didn’t need to bring our luggage into the water bus.
