We had a wonderful time at this hotel. The rooms are unique, the hotel is centrally located near the train station. The hotel staff is amazing and we really enjoyed talking with Matteo. We also asked Matteo for a restaurant recommendation and he sent us to a wonderful little place right down the street that had outdoor seating on the grand canal. This hotel is a hidden gem and you should book your room there.

This hotel was in walking distance from the train station, which is partly why we chose it. It was very clean, comfortable, & the breakfast was amazing! Great place to stay in Venice!

The hotel is less than a five minute walk from the trains, which I promise you is critical as we saw many struggling through the streets with their suitcases. Our check in experience was fantastic and the staff are very kind, with helpful recommendations. They have luggage storage on site which provides a great piece of mind. The room itself was tucked away and quiet. Very clean room, bedding and washroom. They also have a great indoor lounge and outdoor terrace. The breakfast was plentiful and had many options for everyone. Would definitely recommend Hotel Abbazia for your stay in Venice!

The stuff and location are great but the room was ridiculously small. The bed was mounted on a some sort of a podium which is quite dangerous because it blends with the floor and several time me and my husband were really close to fall down from it, especially at night. I think they should give that room to customers only if there is no other choice. The other inconvenience was that it was very hot inside with no air conditioner. We left the window open for the night and sure enough I got a mosquito bite on my face the next morning. It was definitely not the worst hotel I’ve been into but I regret I didn’t book another one.

This historic hotel is in a most convenient location within a stone’s throw of the train station and water bus stop. It is away from the high attraction tourist areas and near to some great dining, and shopping. The hotel itself has the best staff and service. They are always pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast was amazing. The courtyard is beautiful and tranquil. This is the third time I have stayed here and will choose Hotel Abbazia every time. A great value and a wonderful stay.

I liked how close this property was to the train station. It was also very close to great restaurants and transportation. The room I booked was a “quadruple” which was described as two twin and one full bed. There was only one twin bed. The other “twin” was just a sofa made up as a bed. I would have liked to have known that ahead of time. I was trying to avoid sleeping on a sofa. Also, did not have A/C as described. We didn’t have a fan either. So, the room was very hot an
