The hotel was very convenient, right beside the train station. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and the garden at the back was beautiful.

This historical hotel is located in a central location near the train and boat stations. Yet it’s tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The staff is amazing and helpful. They were so kind to my child. The breakfast is amazing! The only recommendation I have is adding a shower curtain since it was awkward using the tub shower.

Pros: the location next to the train station was convenient both for an early morning arrival and departure, the staff at the desk were super friendly, the breakfast was good, and the common areas are charming Con: our room was dated and sparse (bare white walls) a little shabby (old tattered linens) and didn't look nearly as nice as the pictures shown on the website, so that was a little disappointing

Clean, safe, quiet and close to the Santa Lucia train station. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Our bathroom had a big tub. Neither the hand shower nor the jucuzzi jets worked. Breakfast was excellent.

I would like to sincerely Thank Mirko for his excellent service. We arrived at the Hotel I believe 2-3 hours ahead of check-in; and with no hesitation Mirko made arrangements and checked us in. The whole check-in and check-out process took less than 5 minutes. The location was perfect; a 2-3 minute walk and you're already witnessing the breathtaking view of Venice. Their breakfast was impressive; a wide range of food. Overall 10/10. Highly recommend this place; espcially if you're with a little one. My baby was 18 months old.

We have stayed here on all our visits to Venice and we like the history of the property and the location away from the hustle and bustle. Easy access to public transportation, but also easy to walk to the sights or just to wander down little side canals. But the main draw is the people. They are so very hospitable and helpful and make each visit feel like coming home.
