We had an amazing stay here. Great location for everything and really quiet. The hotel was perfect in every way. We had a canal room and exceptional. Very clean and in good condition. There was access to a coffee machine in the breakfast room if required during the day. Breakfast was very good with lots available. My daughter especially enjoyed the apple turnovers! Great coffee made and nothing was too much trouble. The balcony was a great extra and gondolas would come by. There is a local small supermarket nearby great for provisions like water each day. A fruit stall and many small bars and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. All away from the tourist madness and perfect for peace and quiet. On a good side for the Murano/Burano ferry. Perfect stay and will definitely be back. Thank you.

Perfect quiet spot in Venice

Wow! I couldn’t come up with a single negative thing to say about this magnificent hotel. Incredible staff, great location, beautiful rooms. Only a fifteen minute walk to St. Mark’s Square. A small grocery store nearby as well as a wine shop. Fruit stand thirty feet from the hotel. Wonderful place.

The Perfect Place

This is the PERFECT place to stay. It is in a great location (close walking to everything, but removed from the crowds/noise). The breakfast is excellent. Very comfortable room/bed and bathroom. It was a very nice neighborhood. Not too busy and the hotel itself was great! Every person we dealt with at the hotel was so kind and helpful! Breakfast was delicious and our room was great! Would definitely stay there again!

Real gem in Venice and great value

I had an excellent experience at Alla Vita Dorata. It's slightly off the beaten track, which means it's quiet and away from the tourist crowds. Yet, very close to the water bus stop from the airport and conveniently placed for the attractions. Communication from the owner was excellent before my stay, and service whilst there was caring and friendly. The breakfast in particular deserves mention for the great selection and quality. I'm hoping that I will be able to return to Venice, and Alla Vita Dorata, in the future.

Such a gem!

Absolutely excellent. The level of custoer service was superb. You are really made to feel part of the family. Please don't miss out on the single table terrace, overlooking the canal. Sitting here eating breakfast was the perfect start to the day. Upon check-out, the host even looked after a vase I purchased so I could collect it when I came back from my cruise. Now that is service! Highly recommended!
