The well-known city of Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte is within reach of Uhana. You'll find this busy centre 200 kilometres to the west.

Buddhangala Monastery and the Mahaavaapi Maha Viharaya Temple are not far from the middle of Ampara, 10 kilometres to the south of Uhana. Why not go there and have a gander?

Amazing hotel! Located off the beaten track this was a great experience for the family. The pool is excellent, food good quality and the tours were well organised with small numbers. This is not a touristy area so a more exclusive feel that other locations in Sri Lanka.
