Visiting son in university

Visiting my son in uni , the only accommodation with free parking in the center. Right next to a pedestrian walkway straight to the uni and center of town. Few minutes to the train station also if needed will definitely stay there again

Lovely hotel

Lovely. The only issue we had was the shower - there was little pressure and the water didn’t get hot until the end of the shower. We also don’t love two-spigot sinks. But the bathroom was clean and pretty, towels were large, good lighting.

Pleasant stay at good value hotel

Was expecting a basic hotel but it was much better than that. Good size room, fine breakfast, welcoming reception. Perfect for a trip to the football or rugby.

Well placed value

I stayed here for the Leicester Comedy Festival. It is a pleasant short walk into the town centre. This, the free parking and the size of the room were exceptional value. The only small issue I had was one that can't really be addressed - creaky floors. I wasn't disturbed by them myself, but was a little paranoid walking around late at night/early morning!

Arriving late, the entrance was locked with directions to use the car park entrance which meant finding where the car park was. Once found I was let in and rapidly checked in. The room was very provincial hotel and not to my taste but the bed was comfortable. Next morning found that the shower didn’t work and had to head out unwashed. When I told reception they didn’t seem surprised or offer anything to compensate for this. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
