Book Trafalgar hotels

We chose this hotel based on shuttle availability, reviews, and price. We had an early flight and live 3 hours from the airport and were traveling with small children. If you’re going to need the shuttle do call and confirm shuttle times and book your shuttle times well in advance. I read online that the shuttle service began at 5AM. we needed to leave for the airport by 545 but at the front desk check-in, they said shuttles don’t start until 6 AM. They did arrange for the shuttle to be there at 5:45 AM though. Well, on our way to the airport, I realized we would need to arrange for the shuttle when we returned in four days and the shuttle driver said just to call over the weekend and let them know. I called more than 24 hours before needing the return shuttle, but they told me I needed to give them at least 48 hour notice and they couldn’t be there when we needed them to be. I asked if they would reimburse our Uber and then they were able to pick us up. They told me to call when we arrive so I did and the shuttle was waiting for us. By the time we made it through baggage claim. So in the end, I was very happy with the service, but it was a little frustrating setting up the shutttle.

It was everything I needed, microwave, refrigerator, hangers for clothes. The water pressure the hot water was instant and the water pressure was outstanding. Mattress was comfortable. It was a great stay.

The room and property was clean overall. The parking lot in the front was completely full so we had to park in the back parking lot next to the expressway. There was one other car there in the back lot in the afternoon and a few more early in the morning. That part didn’t necessarily feel the safest since it was hidden away, and I would have felt safer if a man had been with us rather than just me and my sister. I was also worried about leaving my car outside there overnight, but luckily nothing happened. We had no soap in the shower, thankfully my sister had brought some. The mattresses were extremely hard and uncomfortable and the sheets were more stiff than soft. Check in was a super smooth process, did not take long to check in or out. Did not use the pool or eat breakfast so I cannot attest to those amenities. It was rather quiet over night and I love the blackout shade on the window because I hate any light when I sleep. Overall, it was a decent place, not worth the price. Would prob stay somewhere else if we come back to Indy.

Need a safe the staff couldn’t get in the safe

We appreciated the shuttle to and from the Brown County Music Center. Would have loved being able to order breakfast after 11am. Overall it was a nice stay.
