Book Town of St. George hotels

The Azura staff was warm, friendly and very helpful. The hotel was perfectly situated on a hill overlooking the beautiful crystal blue ocean. The view from our balcony was breathtaking. The public bus has stops very close to the hotel which made it very convenient to travel from one end of the island to the other. We would definitely stay there again!

The spa helped to relax me.

The Hamilton Princess is a lovely property. It gets high points for location if you want to be near lots of restaurants and the ferry terminal. Access to the rest of the island is easy. I appreciated the adult heated pool as there were lots of kids at the other pool. We were in one of the beautifully renovated rooms in the Bermudiana Wing. However, I guess I wasn't clear on the difference between a "Bay" view and "harbour" view. We were on the Bay, which is a small channel running beside the hotel rather than an expansive harbour view. It was still lovely and quiet on that side (the other side faces the pool).

Lack of ambiance

Not a 5* hotel but it was everything it advertised and thus gave it 5*. I was not disappointed. It’s an older hotel that’s been updated. I was happy with the room. Great ocean view and left balcony doors open for the breeze. Ate at the restaurant for lunch, good. Used the beach, lovely. Walked to nearby grocery store, handy. Used the Bermuda college gym beside the hotel (small and dated but had all the weight equipment I needed). There are bus stops in walking distance. Taxis in to town were quick and under $20. I would stay here again.

Everything about this property is wonderful except for the hill. The cottages are beautifully clean and look brand new inside. The view of the harbour is stunning. The property is peaceful. The staff is warm and welcoming and helpful in every way. The only issues we had were the hill from the main street and the village of St. George's up to the hotel, the lack of a beach shuttle because it is only seasonal and the lack of a restaurant property because it is under renovation currently.
