This place might just be the epitome of perfection. It maintains an atmospheric blend of both modern and traditional Japanese features. We absolutely loved it. Note that your experience will be limited if you are pregnant or have tattoos as these are not permitted in the onsen.
Had a hard time finding towels but overall our stay was very nice!

Disliked: Cleanliness
The rooms were incredibly tiny and not well designed. We stayed at another hotel in Tokyo that was as small, but at least the other layout was well thought out.
Our whole family agreed that it was very dusty (do not leave any black items on the floor otherwise it will pick up all the dust) and very stuffy since there was no fan in the bathroom making our room very humid and perfect for mold to grow… as seen on our shower.
The lobby is small and I wish there was a lounge to hang since the rooms were so small. Staff were okay, definitely below the average Japanese hospitality.
Very convenient stay in a nice quiet location. We only stayed one night. The city view was great! The room was very clean. The breakfast was great as well! Highly recommend!
This was a wonderful place to stay. The rooms and decor embrace a traditional Japanese style, creating a calm and authentic atmosphere. The staff were warm and attentive, and the rooftop onsen was a highlight—an excellent way to unwind and soothe sore muscles at the end of each day. Despite being very quiet, the hotel is conveniently located directly across from a 7-Eleven.
The only drawback is its distance from the heart of Shinjuku and the main train station. While the walk is possible, I often relied on taxis to get back and forth.
Overall, a relaxing and beautifully designed ryokan experience that I thoroughly enjoyed.
The onsen is incredible, view and inside/outside options. Rooms are tiny, but most are in Japan. Very central to entertainment district, an amazing garden/park, and sports arenas if you want to attend.
