The hotel has a nice, cute vibe, but the rooms are extremely small—you can only open one carry-on at a time. One side of the bed is pressed against the wall, so if two average-sized people stay, someone will keep bumping elbows or knees. The bathroom is equally cramped. Lesson learned: unless traveling solo, book rooms over 118 sq ft.
Breakfast was underwhelming. It’s not about Western option, but there weren’t real Japanese choices either—just one fish, plain rice, curry with steamed rice, miso soup, a few vegetables, and sliced banana for fruit. The photos online make it look much better than it is. If you have food allergies, there are no alternatives. No coffee machine either, just a warmer with basic drip, which is frustrating since most coffee shops in Japan open late.
