But there's no need to work yourself into a tizzy. Hjartdal is around 45 kilometres away and features some impressive places to crash, including the Nutheim Gjestgiveri and Seljord Hotell.

The room was clean, cozy, and had a good view. The staff was friendly enough. The restaurant had great food. We had the reindeer, turbot, and grouse. The turbot and reindeer should not be missed if you are staying here. The atmosphere was quiet, pleasant, and quaint.
