But there's nothing to worry about. You can always find a place to stay in Hjartdal. This destination is 30 kilometres from Rjukan. Hjartdal hotel options include the Nutheim Gjestgiveri and Seljord Hotell.

After more options? Live it up like a rockstar in Kongsberg (just try not to trash the joint). Lovely spot in Rjukan

The location of the hotel is right next to the river, a lovely spot to relax. It's not far by car to the Krossbanen (closed for 2024), the Gaustabanen, and the Norwegian Industrial Workers Museum. Staff are friendly and helpful. There are not too many dinner options nearby, but there are some, although youll likely need a car. Breakfast was average.
