My stay at The Belmont

From check-in to check-out The Belmont was exemplary. Hemant apologised for keeping me waiting 2 seconds at check-in which set the tone. Room was spotless. My evening meal was flawless. Bed was extremely comfortable and external noise was minimal. Will definitely stay again next time in Leicester.

Friendly welcome. The room was clean and fresh and had everything you expect. The bar service is efficient. We had a snack of soup/sandwich. Both were excellent. Breakfast is varied and good quality. We would recommend time and time again.

Lovely hotel inside and has kept its victorian style. Room was beautiful and cosy and very spacious and fridge well stocked with bottles of water and the coffee and tea was kept topped up if you needed anything you just had to ask. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and great choice available. Full English breakfast was excellent and served hot. Tea and coffee was great and you got more you only had to ask. Bar was nice and well stocked . Draft beers nice. Plenty parking. All staff were very nice and friendly and helpful. Room maid Dolly was very nice and kind. Attention to detail excellent. Helped me with the stairs so kind. Great location. Plenty of eateries around for all budgets. Good taxi service and bus services very reliable and train station just 5 minutes walk. It’s a great area for Christmas shopping lots of shops. We were there for the start of Diwali and it is beautiful decorated and big wheel etc lights look amazing at night worth a viewing at night time. Definitely would recommend this hotel and we would definitely stay there again .

Good location to walk into the city centre. Many places to eat nearby. Hotel was clean and quiet, even with a reasonable amount of occupants. Good breakfast available. Decor was typical of it's era.

Always given a good welcome at Belmont

Always given a good welcome. Comfortable furniture and generally clean. Room seemed a bit old fashioned and a bit of mould in shower otherwise 5 star. Lovely breakfast.

Very very comfy bed and an incredibly powerful shower in a lovely bathroom. Room would have been great ( a little cool, no biggie) apart from some cobwebs in the corners. Evening receptionist was extremely frosty because I parked where I shouldn’t have while I popped in to enquire where carpark was in fact she may as well have been wearing a badge saying ‘ I hate my job!’ The young breakfast waitress was delightful in sharp contrast although there seemed to be some confusion that cooked breakfast would be self service from the buffet, it turned out that orders were taken, again no biggie but items we asked to be left off were included. A stroppy chef stuck his head through from the kitchen and barked at the waiting staff in front of guests. This hotel is a stunning building in a great location and could be amazing with a little more attention to detail and thought to customer service.
