What's the point of visiting Tembok if you're gonna be staying out in woop woop? Immerse yourself in the city vibe at a central hotel like Spa Village Resort Tembok and The Villas Tejakula.

You might also like to try The Griya Villas and Spa or the Elephant Safari Park Lodge. The Griya Villas and Spa is 35 kilometres away from the centre of Tembok, and the Elephant Safari Park Lodge is 30 kilometres away. Don't skedaddle before you've checked out the Pura Pancering Jagat and Batur Natural Hot Spring in Kintamani. My wife and I and my wife's sister stayed in one of the 2-BR villas at Dusun Bedugul Asri in September 2025. We were very satisfied with our stay there. We went to the area because we wanted to see the Bali Botanical Garden, which is nearby. It was a bit too far to walk, but the hotel quickly arranged a good driver for us. The grounds of the hotel are beautifully landscaped. It's actually like a miniature botanical garden. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant food was excellent.
