Taree Hotels with Parking

I chose this hotel for the blue playground listed in the pictures, this playground no longer exists and it’s now a backyard style wooden playground which left a lot to be desired for my child, she still enjoyed it though but we were both sad the pictures hadn’t been updated. The room was clean and adequate. We payed for the buffet breakfast, this was ok, don’t expect anything grand but it filled our bellies, the best part was the automatic pancake machine my daughter loved it. Coffee was empty and not refilled in the time we were there.

The staff were very helpful. I did not receive any code for the lock box, called after hours number and a staff member was there to let me in, in two minutes. Very family friendly and my doggie loves the place and the beach that he runs on. I stayed two days this time and really enjoyed myself. The nights were very quiet and I slept well. Breakfast was terrible - packet scrambled eggs and rude chef when asking for poached eggs.

The room was quite ordinary for the price. Not sure if the room standards vary based on who you book it thru ( in this case Expedia ). After we booked-in we got locked out, the card wouldn't work, had to go to Reception to let us in, not sure what would have happened if the reception desk wasn't manned. The vinyl floor outside the bathroom was swelling due to water damage. Bathroom door handle did not work properly, the bathroom vent wasn't working, had to leave the window open constantly, mould on bathroom floor tiles and shower walls and water damage around bathroom door frame. The whole room looked little sad. For a few more dollars i would have gone elsewhere

Accommodation was satisfactory, bed was comfortable.. it wasn't horrible. However if u are on the ground floor, u will hear the person move around their room.. Wonder if that is why they supply the disposable airbuds

We like motels because you can park out front of your room which this is and It was clean. I can only speak about our room for 2 people for 1 night. Our room needs a refurbishment badly, things were rusty and needs a paint. There was only 1 unplugged bedside lamp on 1 of the bedside tables BUT there was no power point behind any of the bedside tables OR bed to plug into and no extension lead to plug in anywhere else (solution, get rid of the 1 bedside lamp and have none there if you cannot use). Our room was small and no closet to hang clothes or even an open rack to hang suit or dresses. Finally, being this is May going into winter there was no blanket to keep warm. I had to get something warm out of my bag.
