Sorry! As much as we've tried, we haven't been able to find any places to crash in the heart of Tamboon.

But there's no need to freak out. Gipsy Point is around 50 kilometres away and has awesome places to stay, such as the Coull Waters Holiday Apartments and Mallacoota's Shady Gully Caravan Park.

Visitors with a good appetite for adventure can also go snowboarding and skiing in this corner of Australia.

Boydtown is another place where you can kick back and order up some room service like a boss. Located 90 kilometres northeast of Tamboon, it's where you'll discover the Boyd Tower and Rotary Park. The Discovery Parks - Eden and Heritage House Motel & Units are a few of the accommodation options here. Or, you could consider staying in Eden, 95 kilometres to the northeast of Tamboon, where you can choose from the Coachman's Rest Motor Inn and Reflections Holiday Parks Eden. Aslings Beach and Sapphire Coast Marine Discovery Centre are among the more popular points of interest to check out for those visiting Eden.
