Everything was average, but the service is poor, but it’s my first time in Costa Rica. Perhaps, it’s that way everywhere in CR. The restaurant had less than half of the staff than other places all inclusive that we have stayed in Mexico. The bar by the pool didn’t allow people to go get a drink if we were wet which makes total sense. However, there wasn’t any waiter to take guests their drinks to the pool which doesn’t make any sense. I am used to having a few waiters take drinks to the pool and even the beach area everywhere in Mexico and a few other countries that I have visited.

The property is all inclusive and reasonable priced they bring said the beach isn't swimmable and surfing was not something we chose to do as the water was very rough. That being said, the beach is walkable and you can do all those things there. The food was not the best but we were able to find things to eat

The food/drink service staff were great, the property is small and easy to navigate. It is also close to town, walkable or you can get a cheap uber. Views of the rainforest were beautiful and it was easy to book excursions. The spa has reasonable prices and the deep tissue massage was amazing. The front desk staff were less than helpful and refused to assist members of my group with room issues. We had 11 people in our group and we all had different supplies and issues with our rooms. Some didn’t have towels, toilet paper, lights didn’t work, etc. Front desk staff did not relay needs to housekeeping. It took over two days for toilet paper to be delivered, the front said that it was a housekeeping issue and would not provide any paper. I had to write a note to housekeeping asking for more water after two front desk staff didn’t tell them.

Great location but can’t swim at the beach. It’s too rocky. The staff is great but the service can improve. We didn’t have bathroom tissue, towels and their department closed early every day. The food was ok just not a big variety which got boring fast. It’s at a great location near everything close to town.

We had a fantastic vacation with our family. The rooms are clean and the property is well kept. The beach is beautiful, but the water was rough. If you want to enjoy a calmer water you can walk or uber to the town beach it’s beautiful and close to the resort. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I enjoy that they had juice stations in the lobby and at the snack bar, so if you were thirsty you could help yourself anytime. The food was delicious and had a great variety for everybody. At breakfast I absolutely enjoyed the smoothie station- all from fresh fruits. The only thing I would preferred to have air conditioning in the buffet. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we would return to this resort. Lovely vacation.

The facilities were nice and kept clean. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The only downfall is the food. Yes its a buffet, the food is a 6 out of 10. It didnt have a lot of flavor and they served a lot of the same things for all three meals amd everyday. After about three days you are totally burned out. I was only able to eat at the Italian resturant once. It was a very good experience. The food there is gaood. Overall i would stay there again but only for a few days.

The air conditioning in our room did not work upstairs. The housekeeper was terrible. She would take our clean & dirty towels but not replace them. We called 3 different times asking for towels and they would tell us they would be delivered within 5-10 min. They NEVER came. We would have to flag down the housekeeper or attendant for the mini bar to ask for towels. Also, in our upstairs bathroom, the ceiling leaked from the air conditioner so we would have to use our towel. Meant to go for the shower and put it down in the middle of the bathroom floor to soak up the water that was dripping from the ceiling. Our room smelled of mildew. The beach area of the resort was virtually non-existent. It consisted of plastic recliners under trees in the dirt. You could not swim in the water due to rip currents. The food was not very good either. We made the mistake of buying 2 energy drinks from the shop there at the resort and it cost us $16 American dollars! The whole place was a rip off. We ended up checking out 2days early to go to a different hotel. Would not recommend.

This place was amazing!! So beautiful and a little bit of everything. Large pool. Amazing waves for surfing. Japanese and Italian restaurants (additional charges). Endless drinks, food including snacks, music, and fun. Grounds were well maintained, and the staff was very friendly.
