But don't work yourself into a panic just yet. There are a few accommodations in Thanh My Tay, 45 kilometres from Tam Nong. These options include the Victoria Chau Doc Hotel and Hung Cuong Hotel.

It's well known that Aussies are pretty relaxed, so consider chilling out a little longer and going to the Cai Be Floating Market and Cai Be Catholic Cathedral in Cai Be, 65 kilometres to the southeast of Tam Nong. This is a very clean property in a good area. One block from the river. The room was very spacious. Some music coming in from the outdoor venue opposite, but nothing problematic just be aware. Breakfast is available for five dollars with a nice selection. The hotel staff were very kind. When I didn’t arrive at a location that I was picking up a tour from on time they sent Ahmed to find me, and I jumped on the back of his motorbike, and apologized for being so tardy. The one thing I would mention is the room price was on my bill, and had I not checked my Expedia app. I may have paid for it twice, which would’ve been very frustrating. It’s a good hotel.
