Breakfast was excellent with great choice but there was a huge line to get in at 6.45am. Maybe they can improve access if there are lots of big groups. One day we had breakfast later at 9am after the market and it was nice and quite.

Very well located for the train station, easy walk to the old town. Good buffet breakfast, rooms very comfortable, lovely to have the hot baths.

Hotel is modern, and very clean. Close walk to Takayama station, and many restaurants.

Very friendly staff in this Ryokan. Japanese and Western breakfasts were excellent quality. Comfortable futon and bedding. Used the private bath with additional cost, though not mineral spa water. Still an enjoyable experience.

This hotel was very nice. The room was clean and spacious and the breakfast buffet is excellent. What impressed me most was the customer service. I left something in my room after checking out and didn’t realize it until the next day. I contacted the hotel through the Hotels.com messaging feature and the staff were so responsive and went above and beyond to coordinate getting this delivered to my next hotel. I did not expect the hotel to respond so quickly and to go as far as to coordinate with the next hotel to ensure my item was returned to me. I am thoroughly impressed with the staff here. I would definitely stay here again.
