Good location, pleasant staff but rooms very cramped and shower taps not working properly as had one option and that was boiling hot water that you could not cook or stand under.

Property is showing some age in the room flooring. Also no dining service available. Just a marginal breakfast offer. Served somewhat slowly. Reasons given for this was due to staffing issues carried over from covid. Also had to change rooms due to faulty shower. Only had very hot water and extremely hot water. No cold water at shower head.

The elevator was only accessed to the 1st floor and then a maze to get to the 2nd floor by stairs to the room.
Very inconvenient

The hotel furnishings are about due for a refresh.
Lovely stay at the Colessio in Stirling.
The staff were excellent, so friendly and helpful.
We had to pay an additional £15 to park for 24hrs, but we knew the car was safe and we were in the middle of the city so this was acceptable.
On arrival had to pay £16 to park in the hotel carpark for 24 hours 😤 surely if you have a room booked it should be free parking.
Walking into the hotel downstairs bar and restaurant is beautiful. Staff are lovely and very welcoming.
The room was a different story, lovely big room however needs upgrading. The carpet was thread bear in numerous places. The leather bed frame was all flaking. One of the cupboard doors was hanging squint. On the table at the window there were marks which didn’t look very nice.
It’s a shame as this hotel has the potential to be lovely but the room and parking set up has let it down badly

Great Indoor bike storage, avoid the breakfast
Expensive for what it was. But they allow bikes to be stored in the room which is fantastic. Very friendly staff, clean room but quite shabby with threadbare carpet. Breakfast buffet was very disappointing with little choice and undrinkable coffee and tea from stale tasting flasks. We’d stay there again but avoid the breakfast.
Met the manager today in passing he took time to stop and speak, all of the staff we met were genuinely interested in making your stay enjoyable. Will definitely be back 😊
The hotel is very nice, but the reception staff could be more friendly and accommodating.
They gave me a family room in the 3rd floor and they expected me to climb the stairs with 2 big luggage and a push chair. That was not convenient at all. On top of that they didn't offer any solution to bring up my luggage. At the end I store them at the reception because I couldn't bring them up myself. So they are poor decision makers, they just know how to address the normal or easy requests. I mean how come they have a family room at the top of the hotel with any accessibility. That's nonsense.
Beautiful hotel inside and out. All areas were very clean and pristine. Very close to the city centre and historical sites. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. I will definitely be returning!
The barmaid/receptionist (unsure name) made our stay due to her attentive nature when I'm 2 year old daughter was sick she went over my expectations and an asset to the hotel. The breakfast was superb also and would definitely book and overnight stay again. Thank you for your help as know you were running around doing multiple jobs.
the property is lovely however the ceiling in the shower was falling down, the bathroom mirror was broken, the wall heater did not work, nor did the towel warmer. the fabric on the desk chair was filthy from hand dirt. the walls were thin as I unfortunately had to listen to the toilet usage of the next room while bathing. no meals other than a boring breakfast were offered and the building is a mouse maze. Other than that...I would not recommend a stay!

Room could use an update, staff lovely.
Staff all lovely and friendly, hotel room was a bit run down, damage to carpet and bathroom ceiling, bed wasn’t the most comfortable and the kettle wasn’t working. Breakfast was delicious, and check in and check out process was simple and fast.
