The room was clean and spacious, however the booking stated a king bed and stocked minibar, but the bed was a double and the minibar was empty. Not a big deal and couldn't be bothered to change rooms so we didn't say anything. The location was nice and central with parking easy to find.

Room was clean But basic No tea or coffee or Iron in Room that I could find. Massively over priced for Dinner and breakfast. I travel alot, this is Overpriced in my view. Will go elsewhere next time.

Would definitely recommend

I was really happy with both the cleanliness of my room and public spaces throughout the hotel. The food in the restaurant was really tasty and the breakfast excellent. All staff were friendly and attentive. All in all I found my stay comfortable and convenient for the city centre and public transport. I would definitely stay again.

So we stayed over at the hotel for two nights. I had a little bit of an accident in the bedding because I have been on chemotherapy. I assumed when I came back to the hotel room that the bedding would have been changed however the cleaner made the bed but did not change the bedding. We were very lucky there was two beds, however The cleaner also left a packet of crisp on my other bed. I’m not quite happy with the standard of cleaning in the hotel for the first time after staying at the hotel numerous times. Upon checking in it took us such a long time because there was only one member of staff at the desk we had ordered food so by the time we had got to our room, the food had got cold so that was disappointing.

Lovely stay

Brilliant stay, great value for money. Large rooms with 2 doubles beds making it extra comfy. The team were lovely and friendly and put our three rooms all together which was great, thank you. Gave 3/5 for service, however this wasn’t for the people, they were great, but the bar was really poorly stocked. Lots of us had to have 2nd or 3rd drink choices as it was so limited. Great location, short walk to bars, restaurants and shops.

Hotel staff were really friendly and everywhere was clean. It was a short walk to the city centre and about 10 minute walk from the Highcross shopping centre car park where the parking was only £6 via the hotel discount. We stayed to go to a darts event which was a 20 minute walk. Overall it was a lovely stay.

Good for city centre hotel

Clean room, comfy bed, lacking things like shower cap etc.. Outside of doors along corridors looked like a prison. Terrible design. Good breakfast. Helpful reception. Would stay again.

Von außen macht das Holiday-Inn City keinen besonders einladenden Eindruck, aber die Innenbereiche sind ansprechend gestaltet. Unser Zimmer war ausreichend groß, sauber und angenehm. Trotz der verkehrsnahen Lage des Hotels war es auch recht ruhig. Das Frühstück bot keine besonderen Highlights, war aber OK. Es sind keine eigenen Parkplätze vorhanden und das NCP-Parkhaus direkt am Hotel macht keinen vertrauenserweckenden Eindruck. Wir haben uns daher für das Highcross Rooftop Parkhaus entschieden. Die dortigen Parkplätze sind groß und sauber, es sind zu Fuß nur etwa 5 Minuten zum Hotel und wenn man sein Auto am Terminal im Hotel einbucht ist es auch günstig. Zum Be- und Entladen kann man vor dem Hotel in der Drop-Off-Zone max. 30 Minuten kostenlos anhalten.
