It sits 420 kilometres to the northeast of the country's capital, Washington.

Nothing compares to enjoying a day by the ocean. While you're in the area, take a day to visit Burying Hill Beach, 95 kilometres to the southeast.

Get out in the fresh air and admire the natural beauty of Minnewaska State Park. It's located 35 kilometres away from Staatsburg. You can also find some quiet time at Hudson River Adventures, 40 kilometres away.
