not impressed with the room as upon arrival a white polyester wig was found in the room at the side of the dressing table. took it downstairs and was told management would be informed . nobody made any contact with us during the 2 night stay . most disappointed . not what we expected to find in our room that was stiflingly hot over night . the only good thing was the breakfast that kept us going most of the day
My go to hotel for attending House & Classics. Not that close but just right for me getting to and from the event i attend and quiet when i return.
Always happy to see me return and i'm always happy with everything here.
Stayed 1 night in a double bedroom. Room was good enough, clean, quiet, comfy bed. Just a little outdated that’s all. Breakfast however was not great. So many flies swarming put me off. The overall selection of food was not so great as well as the quality.
Room smelt of stale smoke. It was worse near the bedside cabinet and then I spotted the telephone that was filthy and that is where the smell was coming from. We had to sit it on the window ledge behind the curtain to try and get rid of the small, it was also thick with dust behind the cabinet. Both curtains were ripped on the edges, there was no privacy either so had to have the curtains closed as windows were bare. Room had not been throughly cleaned and there were marks on the bedsheet too.
We had a very pleasant stay. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff were friendly, the breakfast good and it was all better than we expected given the negative reviews.

It was perfectly fine for one night, the staff was really nice. The room was out dated and could use some improvements (including a new mattress). But overall fine for a short stay, beautiful area.
The place is cheap so if you want cheap then go for it, but everything is worn and needs replacing, the bed covered where disturbed as if someone else had been in the room and there where no fewer than 15 blue bottle flies in the room.
The only car charger didn’t have any signs for it so a van was parked in the spot so I coupons plug in to charge the rental car.
I left immediately and went to stay at the premier inn locally
We didn’t like the fact we couldn’t find our room, it was up or down stairs, or ther side of building. Took us ages to find our room,even with help of staff! Very confusing! Our friends had the same problem! Took the lift as advised but still far from our room!
The staff were very friendly and accomodating. We found the Hotell very basic and in need of a complete refurb. Many areas are tatty and 1970s style. Cooked buffet breakfast was cold.

Hotel is a bit tired. Fine to stay in for one night.
Unfortunately this hotel is nothing like the photos or description. Not very clean, very tired and terrible beds and bathrooms. Breakfast was terrible so went elsewhere for food.
