Very comfortable stay

Very nice comfortable stay. Ideally placed if you want to visit the castle & the cathedral. Only things to be aware of is that there is music until pub closing.

Lovely pub but rock hard beds

Lovely bar and restaurant. Staff very friendly. Room 5 was very small and the bed was the most uncomfortable bed and pillows I have ever slept on. My partner likes a hard bed but he said this was like sleeping on blue circle cerement. Shame as we stay in Lincoln quite often but would not stay again because of this.

Great location, great room, the only thing that let the hotel down was our evening meal which was not at the standard we had previously experienced and staff managing restaurant on the evening did let it down. Saying that, breakfasts were fabulous, and otherwise great experience and will definitely stay again.

Great pub atmosphere

Second time we have stayed. Lovely hotel, with great staff and a lovely restaurant. Very busy pub but a lovely atmosphere. Parking is tight, meant to be for hotel guests only but we noticed a lot of people parking there and then walking off into town. We will be back when we stay in Lincoln again.

Excellent stay in the heart of Lincoln!

We were warmly greeted, upgraded as they were not full, our room was modern, boutique, nice personal touches, we stayed on one of the hottest nights of the year and even with fans going the temperature didn’t go below 29’C in our room overnight! It was an oven! Nothing the management could’ve done more. The breakfast was absolutely spot on and we were allowed to leave our car until lunchtime in the car park which was so appreciated while we visited our daughter. Thank you so much, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again, all the staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were happy.

Great location and easy parking. Everywhere I needed to go to was in easy walking disatance. Lovely quiet, spacious room and really comfortable bed - I slept like a log! Menu choices ok and drink selection very good, with 0% alcohol options available - all at reasonable prices.

Clean, comfortable, and spacious. Very nice bathroom with claw foot bath and separate walk in shower. Nice pub/restaurant downstairs with a good breakfast included. Excellent location. A bit noisy in the evening, from the beer garden, but only until 10:30pm. And parking!

Central location, lovely room, staff excellent

Absolutely lovely stay at Duke William hotel. It was the perfect location for us to attend a concert at the castle, just a 1min walk away. The hotel check-in was simple, our room was lovely, albeit compact, the bed is huge and very comfortable, and it is very central and a historic building. Evening bar staff were a little salty, but the day time team were great. The breakfast is pre-ordered the night before, and was really lovely. Nice ingredients and poached cooked perfectly! The icing on the cake for me has to be the aftercare. We had left a jumper at the hotel, loving 2hrs away wasn’t an option, but they happily posted it for me and it was with me 2 days! Outstanding service.
