On the lookout for a hotel in Sorlada, Spain? Unfortunately, you won't find heaps of places to crash right within close reach. However, lastminute.com.au has a great range of digs to select from if you commute further out. There are 22 various types of accommodation within a 30-kilometre radius of central Sorlada. Just think of the drive as a bit of extra sightseeing!

lastminute.com.au suggests catching up on some shut-eye at the Hotel Calle Mayor and the AC Hotel La Rioja by Marriott. They're fabulous options, especially if you don't mind staying outside of the main area. Otherwise, take a look at the Hotel Gran Via and the Hotel Los Bracos Managed by Silken.

You might like to look into some other accommodation spots, such as the Hotel Boutique Marqués de Vallejo or the NH Logroño Herencia Rioja. The first is positioned 25 kilometres from central Sorlada, while the latter is 25 kilometres away. If these don't suit, we'd recommend the Hotel Sercotel Portales, which is 25 kilometres from all the action.

Don't skedaddle before you've had a squiz at the Irache Monastery and the Castillo de Monjardin in Metauten. If you want to spend a few nights in Metauten, consider the Hotel Palacio Dos Olivos and Casa rural Basaula. Or, you could consider staying in Logrono, 25 kilometres to the southwest of Sorlada, where you'll find the NH Logroño and Pensión Laurel. If you're staying in Logrono, set aside a little time to visit the Bodega Darien and San Bartolome Church.

Hendaye is located 90 kilometres from Sorlada and has a population of 14,000. When you're there, you'd be crazy if you didn't check out Chateau d'Abbadie, Hendaye Beach and Castillo de Carlos V. If you're in the area for a bit longer, keep the good times rolling with a visit to Plaza Gipuzkoa and Hondarribia Beach.
