If you can't imagine a getaway without some live sports action, look up the event schedule at Fernando Buesa Arena. It's likely something will be on during your visit. You'll find the venue 45 kilometres away in Vitoria-Gasteiz.

There's nothing better than a day spent gliding down the fresh, fluffy snow at Valdezcaray Ski Area. Find a trail map once you arrive and see how much of this winter playground you can power through!

If you're looking to do some exploring, add a trip to Oco to your travel plan. This locality is 7 kilometres to the northeast and is home to the Castillo de Monjardin and Irache Monastery. Want more ideas? Olejua is 8 kilometres to the east of Mues and offers Palacio de la Vega and the Bodegas Irache.

Feel like going to the Bodegas Pago de Larrainzar, Palacio de los Reyes de Navarra and Church of San Pedro de la Rua? Find your way to Ayegui, 16 kilometres to the east, and set up camp. These attractions, along with the Carlism Museum and the Museo Gustavo de Maeztu, are all close at hand.
