The room was ok, but noisy inside but mostly golfers outside early morning! The shower wasn’t too good and the sink was noisy at night, it stopped the night I put the plug in! The food was really nice, evening meal and breakfast, but no fruit on second day of stay and eggs were slow to arrive. Kieron was exceptionally brilliant in the bar/restaurant. Overall, reasonable for the price we paid, although “sea view” was stretching it a bit!!!!

The staff were very genuine and friendly, keen to ask how you were and if you needed anything. The hot drink on arrival was very welcome after a journey in the rain. The hotel felt dated in places but you could see decoration had taken place more recently. The room was ok, not great sound proofing though with very noisy neighbours. Main issue was the huge event on at the hotel which hadn’t been communicated beforehand. Arriving at 5.45 we were told food wasn’t being served after 6.30 which was a surprise given the email we had previously outlined meal times. The party also finished late with loud music being played way past 11pm and also people leaving late with no consideration for other guests. The courteuous thing to do would have been to communicate this ahead of time to give guests the chance to make their own decision as to whether to stay (and put up with the compromise) or choose to stay elsewhere. Having played golf at the venue before and enjoyed it, I had expected more from the hotel as the simple things (communication!!) make the world of difference.

We come to this hotel yearly but this time the staff were only mostly courteous I requested an extra chair for the room and the room was cold I was told I would get the chair the next day and the room was cold because its an end room and that she would get the engineers we had 2 portable radiators in the room but no engineers came while we were there The room was a family room so bigger than normal I suggested for the next guests they put the portable radiators on before they came Attitude of the receptionist was not good in to loolook

The first day we had waitress service and the second day it was buffet. We chose the full engish both days, and it was very good. Also available was a variety of cereals and fresh fruit. Tea and coffee were nice and hot. We had a small view of the sea but it is only a couple of minutes walk to the beach. I have been here a few times before and i love the homely feel about it in general. I will be back.

Lovely evening meal in the restaurant followed by a good quality breakfast next morning.Friendly staff.We booked a larger double the only disappointment was no bath but the shower was small and functional

My room was above the restaurant so was very noisy until they stopped serving food. Would normally have been fine but I'd been at work all day and had a headache when checked in. Room service would have been a bonus but not advertised anywhere that it was available
