Overall, this being our first experience in Washington State, we would absolutely stay here again. The cabin is about 10 minutes from Packwood, which has amazing local eateries—we would honestly come back just for Base Camp Coffee and Cliff Droppers alone. We can’t recommend them enough.The cabin is also about 20–30 minutes from some truly beautiful views, and the property itself offers a stunning mountain backdrop you could soak in for hours. It was perfect for our little family (three dogs included) and had the coziest vibe—ideal for snuggling up and relaxing.The kitchen is well stocked with nearly everything you need, there are board games to keep you entertained, and the fireplace is the perfect way to end the night with s’mores. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely come back.

Quiet, cozy and great views!

Love the views and spacious rooms. A few sugestions: found chips in 1 bowl &1 tall glass; 5 of the spices were empty, trays under burners were very greasy, dirty & smoked; microwave plate doesn't turn; shower instructions in master were wrong; one leg on coffee table was held on by 2 screws at an angle. We bought screws and screw driver to repare it. Our toddler really enjoyed your children's books! Windows were dirty Gas fireplace only worked 2 of 6 nights.

Cabin was cozy and comfortable and the full kitchen was a plus. Everything was clean and the location is convenient to the national park.

Great place, kid friendly, and a quick escape for all the family. We had a blast and this awesome tucked away cabin. We plan on staying here again!!

Mike and I enjoyed our visit. We've been there several times and it's always great. My grand-niece (6 yoa) and her parents came up for the weekend; she is starting to refer to Hummingbird Hill as 'our cabin'. As in telling her friends, 'we're going up to our cabin'. :-) Love that kid!And, the best part is always the hummingbirds. It was November and there were STILL a few of them around. I was so pleased they were there.
