The kitchenette area had cobwebs in the corners and the floor was sticky. The bathroom had no exhaust fan so the walls were damp and you couldn't use the mirror after a shower. I recommend a pest spray as we killed 3 spiders in the room. One was actually in our bed. I was also really disappointed to be charged additional fees for bedding for the sofa and we didn't even get given a pillow with the bedding we had to pay extra for. I had a booked a room to sleep 3. Upon check in I was told "Expedia" is third party booking and doesn't specify the extra charge for bedding. For the price I paid I expected a bit more high end and accomodating.

The room while big was quite dark. The shower was full of sand from the previous guests I imagine (I have photos of this for reference if needed). The ceiling fan needs repairing and it has a constant clicking noise and the air conditioner controls batteries were flat which required me to climb on a chair to operate.

Over priced for what you get. Room standard was very average and only worth half of what they are charging. No linen changes or any service in 3 nights of stay (it's in the fine print that they only do one service for stays longer than 8 days). Mixer taps in the bathroom and shower need replacing. Either boiling hot or freezing and hard to get a balance in between. No vent fan in the bathroom and unable to open the window or doors for ventilation due to mosquitos being everywhere outside. The garden outside is overgrown and a mosquito paradise. Beautiful area right on the beach. Parking was convenient but all the restaurants around the resort are also over priced and average quality food. Give the Mod Thai a miss as food was awful. Best place to eat was Wests Diggers 5 minutes down the road.

Our room was spotless with the most beautiful view of the Bay and Beach from our huge deck. Loved the massive flood-lit trees at nite on the walkway. Wonderful Massage too. So close to great restaurants and super breakfast place right next door. Highly recommend the Ramada Wyndham at Shoal Bay!

Our apartment was very dated but the view and location lovely. We were told if we needed any thing just call reception. There were three of us, apartment sleeps 4 but only 2 bath towels I tried ringing reception several times , no answer, so had to go down and ask for more. no sorry or explanation as to why they didn’t answer phone. Pool was lovely and easy walking to restaurants. Great walk up Tomaree
