The hotel has an outdated and unclean carpet and outdated furniture. Once I checked in and realized that the room was not up to my expectation, I tried to cancel the remaing stay, but the hotel did not allow my cancellation. I had to stay at the outdated hotel room with a dirty carpet for 2 more days. The staff at the restaurant was friendly but the room was not as good as the money that I paid.

The hotel was great as it’s close to subway, shopping and restaurants with the exception of the bathroom which could be updated. I will definitely recommend the hotel to friends and families.

Filthy Disgusting Carpet

Let me start with the good: Very comfortable bed. Decent size room. THE BAD!!! The carpet was absolutely filthy and disgusting!! Old, worn out, covered with stains. I was lucky I brought flip flops, they don’t provide disposable ones, only reusable leather ones , terrible. The room had a smell. There is a motion activated light in the entryway that went off on all day long, when in bed, just turning over would activate it. I couldn’t find a way to turn it off. There’s a Concierge desk at the lobby but is for show only. In four days I never seen anybody at the desk. Check out is at 11am. At 11:10 they called me up and told me vacate the room immediately or I would be charged an extra day. There you have it. Supposedly a 4 Star hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at The President Hotel. Its about a 5-10 min walk to Myeongdong Street. There are 711s in the area. Close to the Euljiro Subway station. Walking distance to Lotte Department store. Great hotel. Amazing staff. Would stay there again!
