This hotel is lovely in every way, from the hotel itself to the staff. It is situated in the historic section of Savannah and easy walking distance from everything. Our only problem was torrential rain that was not the fault of the hotel. But the valets even assisted us to our car with umbrellas!

Outstanding hotel and so glad we decided to stay there. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Charlie at the Valet, we were impressed. First impressions are so critical is customer service and The Desoto should be proud to have an employee such as Charlie. The hotel was beautiful all in all but what we will remember most will be that warm welcome and huge smile from Charlie after driving 7 hours through the night. Desoto…be proud!
