Close to the JR Sapporo train station, so easy to take the train from New Chitose Airport. Lots of restaurants and shopping in the area. Clean rooms, and easy to check in and check out using QR code that was texted to me before arrival, and to use at the kiosk next to the front desk. I would stay here again.

Nice place, friendly people. Note that breakfast is free. Local milk, milk pudding, potato salad, and eggs are great source morning protein as well. Room is sound prove, very queit and nice despite construction near by.

A problem of hygiene

The housekeeping staff did not vacuum the floor after the previous guest checked out. At a glance, I found 2 pieces of food (maybe peanuts) under the desk and besides the bed. The clock’s battery needed a replacement as it was not functioning when I checked into the room. Although I closed the extra window shield, the noise arising from trains departing from/arriving at Sapporo Station was noisy and disturbing to sleep. The free breakfast was not impressive, as only boiled eggs and yogurt were served in addition to continental breakfast. Neither fruits nor vegetables were provided. A guest accidentally dropped over 20 plastic covers for paper cups to the floor, which made obvious sound. Yet, no service staff attended the mess, so the guest tried to place them back to the original place as if nothing had happened. I felt sorry for other guests who would use the dirty covers to take away coffee, and I told him that the covers were no longer clean after he dropped them onto the floor.
The peanut-like piece of food was found under the desk when I checked in the room. It is large enough for the housekeeping staff to remove if she/he had vacuumed the floor.
