This was a beautiful family run business with amazing views. Never have I felt closer to nature or the people of Costa Rica. The host was amazing, super helpful and kind, she made us homemade traditional Costa Rican breakfast every morning. She made herself available at all hours, even when we had to checkout at 2am for our flight home. Parking onsite, and 7 minute drive from down town Alajuela. The view from each room and amenity is breathtaking, the pool is clean and a pleasant escape from the midday heat. The property is a tropical paradise with mesmerizing foliage and wildlife, you can pick ripe bananas in the garden and share them with their pet bunnies (Mango & Waffles) who roam the property daily. I like sit by the overlook in the parking lot with the humming birds and butterflies. This would be a great vantage point for bird watching so pack your binoculars! There’s a handful of very good local restaurants within walking distance, our favorites including El Gordo’s (furthest distance, $$$) & Zompopa Pizza (mid distance, $). This was my favorite part of Costa Rica and I would love to stay here again.

The dining experience was exceptional, thanks to the chef and attentive staff. The Courtyard by Marriott San Jose Airport is conveniently located near the airport, and the shuttle service makes transportation fast and effortless.

Very nice stay for the night. They picked me up from the airport and then drove me to my transpiration to MA the next day. I recommend this place! Very cute property they take care of you here

Delightful and beautiful property!! Room was very clean and definitely had Costa Rican charm. Staff was very kind at dinner and breakfast in the restaurant.
