I had a medical emergency (kidney stones) had to have emergency surgery twice for the same issue I called and sent numerous text and chats through Expedia about cancellation and they will not let me change my reservation for a later date or even credit me back my money. I not only missed this but also today (May 16, 2025) I should be boarding a cruise ship with Royal Caribbean for a 8 day cruise. This was supposed to be my first time to Puerto Rico and this makes me second guess my choices about even visiting this country and if they would all treat me like this makes me feel that the money is more important than a medical emergency. I never made it to the island or the hotel and I hope you all rot in hell for the way you treat people.

Excellent hotel!

Excellent stay! The staff of the reception was polite and very helpful, considering that our flight was delayed by 1 day. We paid for the evening even though we missed the first evening, but I understand that’s not the hotel fault. The food at Kueros, the hotel’s restaurant was excellent, and the service was top notch as well. Hotel is in a great location. Definitely my hotel of choice when we come back to San Juan!

Pre-cruise stay

The location is excellent for cruisers. Unfortunately we arrived at 5am but was unable to check-in until about 2pm and that encountered additional cost. The room was nice with a table and chairs for eating. Having a CVS connected to the hotel was a bonus.

The hotel is in a great location very close to restaurants bars and shops. The staff was very helpful and accommodating we were given a little extra later check out because our flight was delayed and our room was upgraded so we had a view of the Bay. There was music in the hotel bar three nights a week which was a plus. The room was quiet and very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel room was spacious. However, the housing was a disgrace. Our room was not cleaned at 5pm and when I called the receptionist to clean room it took almost 1 hour before the cleaner arrived. I also talk to the receptionist and ask why the room was not cleaned. He insisted that we put a do not disturb sign at the door which was wrong. He kept insisting that it was the reason. He was very arrogant and did not even apologize regarding the cleaning. It was about 6pm when the cleaning maid completed the cleaning.
