It’s an old building and they got water issues but over all the hotel staff was very attentive and nice. This place is great for a short stay and I’d stay here again.

Not What Expected

At best, it was a three-star hotel. The breakfast was OK (no hot food, only muffins, croissants, bread, one fruit, cereal, coffee, tea-the minimum. We arrived early, and the concierge made no effort to get us into a room--eventually I needed to pay an extra half day because he got tired of looking at us in the small lobby. One elevator was broken of the two; the rooms were nice, but the housekeeping was atrocious (filthy bathroom floor) and the TV remote didn't work. The A/C couldn't be adjusted, so even though it was on 80 degrees, it was freezing. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially at the price paid.

Not recomended

Lack of cleaning staff. No cleaning service for days!!!!! New toilet paper was dirty. Cabinets have fungus and curtains black mold stain. Only one elevator in service. The building has no parking of its own, so be prepared to walk a long way to the parking lot they have contracted in another adjoining building. You have to take the car out and go back to the hotel to return the parking card. By the way for this process you need to take a risk to park your car in the only space “available” a forbidden zone (fire red line) to go to the second floor where the hotel reception is located, and if you are lucky you will find someone there otherwise you have to go back to the lobby so the security guard will locate someone who can work at the reception and you will have to go back to the second floor again. There are not many dining alternatives in the immediate vicinity except for a couple of high end restaurants. This hotel does not have a proper entrance, you can't get there by car to leave your luggage which you will have to carry yourself. NO pool, no room service. A total nightmare.

There was no pool even though it states on the amenities there is a pool.. a/c heater did not work.. breakfast is terrible, unless you like bread, cereal and bananas. Wont ever stay here again

Location is excellent and centrally located very near Old San Juan and Condado. The the view from the balcony is spectacular. The room was clean when we first entered, but they do not clean afterwards until you leave. They do provide clean towels upon request. You need a comforter or throw since the room remained cold. The parking is on a discount and was a little far / awkward so the hotel should provide with a map. But for the price and location and view it was good.

Loved the view of the Condado and the entrance to the lagoon. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. I did NOT like the complexity of parking. Walking from the parking lot with suitcases at night trying to find the entrance to the hotel was NOT fun and somewhat scary. Otherwise a lovely stay and plan to come back.

Poor service poor facilities

Got there early around 9:30am, were told after2pm early check in is free as regular checking in was 4pm, we left and returned at 2pm, our room was still not ready, however we were told they will notify us when it get ready, we were kept waiting till 4 while I nearly froze to death as air conditioner was broken and could not be turned off or set to normal temperature as I asked for AC fix, I felt like my heart was stopping due to sever cold while I kept waiting for our room, my wife and I got sever cold that evening and the following few days, we had to rush to wallgreen store in the morning at 8, cost us over $80 (includes ride to pharmacy )then, we want reimbursement for it that hotel owner/ manager did not give us and told us we have to request for it from Hotel.com

False advertising in the photos of the hotel outside, majority of the picture is of the near by condo/apt complexes. Our room was dirty, housekeeping never came by, and it was impossible to get new towels and wash clothes. They were always behind on laundry. Parking was annoying as it was pretty far (and unclear) from the hotel. The room itself was very outdated and it was obvious the carpet hadn’t been cleaned in ages. And the “hot tub” in room is just a deep regular sized bath. The shower door was broken and wouldn’t stay closed so water got everywhere. The staff was very nice and professional though and the food places and liquor store up the street were all really good and convenient to walk to. At least it was somewhat cheap otherwise it wouldn’t have been worth it what so ever.
